[XA2][3.2.0.12] Volume buttons issue

After upgrading to 3.2.0.12, the behavior of the volume buttons changed:

  • They can no longer be used to adjust the volume of system sounds / ring tone volume
  • While they work during music playback, there's no visual feedback anymore

Is that intentional and I missed that when skimming over the changelog or a bug?

I cannot confirm that. I still can adjust the system sounds via the volum buttons

Interesting :) What might I have done to have that side effect on my device? You have an XA2 plus DUAL Sim?

I had something like that on my Xperia X. If you have the Utilities app installed, you can restart the the home screen from Settings/Info/Utilities/Home screen. Or you can reboot.

I am having this Problem even with the old version 3.1.0 so its not really a problem only with 3.2.0

My Volume Buttons would not even work while Playing anything.

After a reboot everything worked however with the Volume Buttons and i could adjust the Volume again.

I still have to upgrade my XA2 Plus Dual Sim Phone to the newest SailfishOS 3.2.0 version.

So i recommend to reboot phone and check if Volume Buttons works again like on my side.

I guess, homescreen restart would do, instead of restarting the phone.
