Separate personal/work profiles (or just hide contacts)

Hi all,
On Android,I use Shelter to enable an isolated work profile, where I sync my work's Google account and its contacts. Thus, WhatsApp doesn't see my works contacts. I have a dual sim phone, and the Android phone/SMS apps can show up the contacts just fine as these apps are duplicated.
Can anything remotely be done on sailfish ? I can add my work account and sync my contacts, thus seeing them on my phone. However, WhatsApp detects all contacts from both personal/work accounts.
Can anything be done here ?
I tried Shelter in the android runtime, but failed to work. And haven't seen any Android app that can filter or hide some contacts from WhatsApp and other chat apps.
To summarize :
- I would like to sync contacts to Sailfish from two google accounts. (done. native support)
- I don't mind them showing up in the phone app in sailfish. (done)
- I don't want WhatsApp to see my work contacts. (not done)
For last point :
- Either with an app or a way to hide work contacts in android runtime, or just for select apps (WhatsApp, etc.)
- Or have some sort of personal/work profile in Sailfish, or a way to make that work in Android runtime.
Anyone had similar issues? Any tips to help please?
Same interest here: Flagging contacts to be shared or not shared with android layer applications would come pretty handy in respect to not sharing unnecessary contact info with every app. For android you could use xprivacylua pro to do exactly that: flag a contact to be shared/blocked with certain applications.
