As described: I updated my XA2 to 3.2.0.12, everything went well. But when reading mails and trying to click any link NOTHING happens. The web links are just ignored.

Clicking on a number or date opens phone app.

--edit

Of course already re-installed jolla-email and sailfish-browser
as well as gmimer shared-mime-info xdg-utils

--edit2 having webcat installed! (WA links open webcat without asking)

@jollajo

I did miss the obvious! :(
Restarting the device helped (restarting lipstick was not enough). But I already restarted device after update 2-3 times so did not think about it.
Please convert to answer.

--edit
And yes: volume bar was also gone and is back.

I am not completely against restarting (like @juiceme ;) but WTF... this never ever happened to me.

Sounds more and more androidish

This issue is for any so-called "clickable" link in any app. Also with Jolla phone and Xperia X. The Jolla browser is in constant regression (for example, double tap zoom is no longer working).

This is probably an old issue. I'd bet your volume bar is also gone. It seems to happen in certain conditions when you uninstall an application.

There is no fix known, either restart your phone or restart the home screen via settings-utiities

Devicelock faith text version 0.1.2 (aka "this nonsence") has been retracted, reworked and is back now.
Seems to be working fine.

@olf can you test call-button?

Me too, but unfortunetly I don't have anything to compare to. Volume and status bar visible.

mSorvisto ( 2019-11-12 17:51:33 +0300 )edit

@Ancelad works for me.

@mSorvisto does it contain remorse-popup?

Ancelad ( 2019-11-12 18:11:25 +0300 )edit

@Ancelad Yes

D#*n, I need to reopen!

As well as rebooting helped, it came back when applying 'load engine' in patchmanager (as it was not yet set to 'apply on boot'j. So I rebooted after another occurence and it was still there.

I had one special patch in suspicion: devicelock faith text from @Ancelad. And presto, immediately after unapply the normal link behaviour in mail was good again.

Will report on TMO...

--edit I forgot to mention that also the volume control bar is affected. Without devicelock patch volume bar is there, with patch applied it is missing

No, I do not!

peterleinchen ( 2019-11-10 15:49:05 +0300 )edit

now you know. so, you caan reproduce it 10 of 10 with only one single patch applied (no other paatches are applied)? and after unapplying everything works fine?

coderus ( 2019-11-10 15:58:41 +0300 )edit

Yes, exactly like that.

peterleinchen ( 2019-11-10 18:54:25 +0300 )edit
