CalDAV + CardDav account via nextcloud, no connection, no error

Setup:

I turn CardDav and CalDav off and then enter for my server app uri. It goes to the next screen, but obviously did not connect.

Also, when I try to sync or update sign-in credentials, I'm immediately thrown out to the main screen.

I probably should have at least one of them turned on, so I can see if it connects or not.

Not sure what I did wrong, but I'd like to add that I did multiple attempts of entering my server URI, starting with: mydomain.tld/nextcloud

Both https://.. and ../remote.php/dav/ are necessary.

Also, you can see if you've entered your server URI incorrectly when CalDAV is turned on. Otherwise it accepts the account without connection.

if thats the url you are using it is wrong. it should end with something like /remote.php/dav

check the links nextcloud shows you and try some of the threads in this forum

also for one of my accounts i had to check the ignore ssl errors option to get it working.
