whatsapp contact database location

Currently my WhatsApp only syncs 251 contacts from my Contacts - all other contacts are shown with their telephone number and when I look into the WhatsApp contact list a huge number of entries are shown displaying only "(No name)".

My idea would be to delete the related database and start importing the contacts again without deleting all data of WhatsApp. But were in the directory tree can I find the respective file?

#67034 relates to the Sailfish-databases - I was looking for the WhatsApp specific one.

The circumstances and solutions in #166802 seem related but not the same though

No - and no hint were on the filesystem the database is stored :-(
