Hello everyone!

First of all, thanks again to the guys from Jolla for the new update!

However, I noticed something weird about the memory usage. Before the update I had 3,2GB used memory and afterwards 3,8GB. That means, that during the update 600MB of free space got "lost".

I suppose that there are a lot of temporary/installation files and so on. Is there any way to free installation files? Or are these 600MB gone forever?

Thanks a lot!

DId you create the backup during the update?

Yes I did. But I do not have so much information in my Jolla.

Actually, I deleted the Backup after the update, and the problem is still there.

This might be an answer, but not too sure about it: jolla uses the advanced btrfs filesystem. It keeps a snapshot of all the original files, so you can do an actual "factory reset", e.g. go back to the original firmware. Perhaps this, or every update, creates a snapshot before updating. Technically you should be able to remove those snapshots and reclaim its space, but you'd loose the ability to do a factory reset.

As moderator status I decided to edit your subject line a bit because you may harm your Jolla with all those !!! ??? ;)

Kindly regards
