Problem with Android audio since Nuuksio (Xperia X, Linphone)

Release notes for Nuuksio mention "Audio routing of WhatsApp and other Android apps fixed". Unfortunately, since update I have problems with Linphone (SIP softphone) -- I cannot hear caller at all, while he/she hears me OK.

I use only phone speaker, no headset -- neither wired nor bluetooth. And yes, volume is all the way up ;)

I have checked, that other (native android) devices using the same SIP account and the same app work as expected, so server-side problems seem to be ruled out.

Being able to receive SIP calls is work requirement, so I may be forced to reflash Android :( Haven't checked other apps yet.

If there is no audio out, no matter what app you test, it might be good to check the audio-out jack for lint. If there is too much garbage stuck in the jack, it might trip the presence sensor and pulseaudio might be trying to route the audio to an nonexisting "ghost" headset.
