Hi

yesterday i did download the new sdk. i did also update oracle vbox to 6.0.14.

my most urgent problem is: i can t connect to emulator, with SSH connection failure on 127.0.0.1 on port 2223

what i am missing is some troubleshooting guide. what network settings are correct ? how can i check connection ? any hints ?

cheers

EDIT1: i did downdate to sdk 2.4 and the issue still persists, so its not related to sdk ?

EDIT2: i have installed two emulators in parallel 3.0.2 (the last one that i think i used to use before the big update) and a fresher one 3.1.0.12. i can start 3.0.2 and will see the sfos homescreen afer some time. this is not the case on emulator 3.1.012

@pawel

change port to 2222

FWIW: my set up on Windows 7 is as follows;

Virtualbox 6.0
Version 6.0.14 r133895 (Qt5.6.2)

Qt Creator 4.9.1 (Sailfish SDK 2.4.0)
Based on Qt 5.9.7 (MSVC 2015, 32 bit)

When the emulator starts, I also see several messages of the same (5 or 6) about unreliable DMA position but doesn't affect my application from appearing.

@Edz, nope: build machine is running on 2222 and i can connect, emulator was running on 2223 and had a time out, now i did switch also to 2222 and it improved: fails with: permission denied (public key,password) i did try to regenerate the keys in the dialog, but did not help

@szopin, @Edz : i did downdate to sdk 2.4, when i click on test connection, i get connected within 2-3 seconds when i did the same with sdk 30 it took like 30 seconds

@pawel

I've update to latest SDK (3.0.7) and so far all is running okay, updates went without a hitch and most noticeable, QmlLiveBench now behaves itself, which is nice.

From hitting 'Run', my app takes about 1m 30 secs to appear in emulator.

Perhaps it's a Windows 10 thing?
