Native browser address bar cut and paste
The back story:
I tried to login to a free wifi service which re-directed to their own login landing page. I was unable to fill it in due to the drop-down menu for "country" being unselectable. It dropped down and scrolled OK, but I couldn't select, so I couldn't login.
Plan B was to cut the unfeasibly long landing page address and paste it into my goto Kiwi Browser and try that.
Alas, I was unable to cut the address from the address bar. Aside from the broken drop-down behavious, is the lack of cut & paste i) a feature, ii) a bug, or iii) user error?
When I typed the address into Kiwi Browser everything worked fine.
I am on an Xperia X using the latest release 3.2.1.20
I am on Xperia XA2 Plus Sailfish 3.2.1.20, I was able to copy url from sailfish-browser just fine. But pasting it to android apps works only half of the time, but I think that problem has been known for a while.

Rikujolla ( 2020-01-15 06:53:02 +0200 )editi think it is not a a bug, when you select some text, it is in the clipboard. no click needed, but cutting is not possible...
manu ( 2020-01-15 09:51:26 +0200 )editone can just move the markers around - as text that is marked is also in the clipboard - this is cutting it ;)
