Dear all,

my IPTV provider is using source-specific multicast broadcasts using the RTP protocol encapsulating a MPEG2 TS / H.264 AVC elementary stream.

Is there a video player or command line tool that allows me to watch the streams? I tried LLs videoplayer but URI format (and thus RTP) is not supported.

Example URL from Magenta TV (Germany): rtp://87.141.215.251@232.0.10.234:10000 (ZDF SD)
Note: You need an IPTV subscription to receive the stream
232.0.10.234 is the SSM group
87.141.215.251 the source IP
The UDP stream is requested using IGMPv3 joins.

I was looking for this too. FritzBox Cable TV streams. I did not found a native way to play RTP video streams in Qt. One possibility would potentially be binding libvlc.

I am pretty sure there is no native way to accomplish that. You could use vlc from f-droid store if you have aliendalvik installed. Vlc can do it.
