Open link/URL in android app/browser [answered]

Hello all,
maybe a trivial question, but I couldn't figure out how to open URL links (e.g. from email app) via android browser. I've set the default browser via mimer app, but opening a link just opens the browser, without actually opening the link.
It has been working on older android version 4.4 on xperia x, but on xperia 10, there is a different system (apkd-launcher) how the android apps are launched.
