The SFOS 3.2.1.20 file browser (not file manager - thanks for the correction) has a well executed way of marking multiple files for copying/moving/deleting.

What is missing from the gallery and email applications is similar functionality: processing these has to be done one at a time.

Is there any way to clone this function from the file manager to the other programs?

Gallery already has a function to 'Select photos' but this is only for deletion and Email also has a similar function as already mentioned by @Maus.

Also, the built-in File Manager found by going to Settings/Storage has no way to mark any file for moving/copying/deleting but individual files can be deleted from a drop down menu on each item (long press to reveal) so I am guessing you mean another file manager; Fileman?, FileTug?, File Browser?

Perhaps you should refine your question to make it a little clearer what you are suggesting, it may help garner more votes.

Not exactly the same as in File Manager, but you can select mails after choosing the corresponding menu item from the pulley menu.
