After slipping from my hand and hitting a stone, my Jolla 1's display has cracked. :(

Fortunately it's a single crack, and the touchscreen and the display both work fine without any issues.

I came across this site that claims to sell "compatible" parts and they have listed the following components:

I am a bit confused on which part to buy because I remember reading that the Jolla 1 phone has a "fused" display. Does that mean all three parts - the front glass, the touchscreen and the LCD - are fused and available as a single unit (in which case the parts listed are not correct) or does it imply that only the touchscreen and LCD part are fused and the front glass is separate?

Some clarifications would be appreciated before I start dismantling my favourite phone.

Thanks for the links to spare parts. Do report back if they actually are trustworthy regarding compatibility. I have three J1s with broken charger- and/or SIM connectors.

Or is there a better place to order them? Closer to Europe maybe ;)

Last year I tried to bye several parts to my Jolla 1 and Jolla C from Maxbhi through ShoppRe but that was quite a nightmare. Maxbhi home page showed that they have parts in stock but what ever parts assistant from ShoppRe tried to buy was cancelled as Maxbhi really didn't have anything to sell for Jolla phones. And as ShoppRe charged for every trial even thought I didn't get anything I was quite pissed off. Not a big lose of money tought but anyway...

So it would really be interesting to know if someone manages to order something and somehow from Maxbhi...

If you get it repaired, please let us know how the repairs went as I have a crack on my Jolla 1 too

Why would anyone downvote this answer, it is as valid as it gets, maxhi or whatever they call themselves only ship to india, if they even have what they claim to have. I have tried to get an LCD for my damaged Jolla phone from them to no avail. The only option is from Sailors with faulty phones willing to sell .

You must purchase the LCD with touchscreen, unless you have equipment and handcraft to remove the glass and attach the new one, which implies removing the adhesive (usually cutting it with a steel wire), cleaning the display and attaching the new glass with UV adhesive to be cured under UV light.

@Giacomo Di Giacomo You are absolutely correct: BT,DT with a different phone. I ruined the digitizer because I wasn't patient enough while separating the glass from the rest and had to replace the complete touchscreen afterwards. You need to be skilled, experienced and have the right tools to accomplish this. Replacing the whole touchscreen is much easier.

Just to be clear - you mean the front glass + digitiser + LCD screen are pasted together in the JP and is a "single" unit and thus if I want to reuse my old digitiser + LCD I would have to "unglue" the broken front glass and paste the new front glass on it (with specialised tools), right?
