Android app settings lost when removing Alien Dalvik [released]

Removing Yandex takes Alien Dalvik ("Android app support") with it. What's more, after reinstalling Yandex/Alien Dalvik, I noticed all settings (game progress etc) in Android apps were lost. Nothing catastrophic for me, luckily, but I could see this causing plenty of trouble for other people so I'd say this is a rather high-priority bug.

When removing Android app support, there should be a warning that all data and settings from Android apps will be lost.

Either there should be an option to delete the data and settings, which should not even be set as default, or the backup should support Android settings and files (two items) as well as the Sailfish applications.

This is terrible. My Android apps weren't working anymore (due to a different problem) and I uninstalled and reinstalled Alien Dalvik, because that's what you do when you think, the install may be corrupted. It didn't help but now that I fixed the real problem all app data is gone. Explain that to my son who spent hours building digital railways there....

This is the culprit from rpm -q --scripts aliendalvik:

#Remove all Alien and Android apps data - Keep only apk files
getent group alien >/dev/null && groupdel alien
for i in $(echo data dalvik-cache app-private misc property media sdcard)
#for i in $(echo data app app-private dalvik-cache local media misc property sdcard system user)
do
    rm -rf /data/$i
done

Added it as a separate issue at https://together.jolla.com/question/109982/removing-aliendalvik-deletes-all-android-app-data/

The junk in the FS is indeed a bad thing.

But : - The deletion of Yandex Store shouldn't have to remove all the Android Support/Alien Dalvik layout - If the deletion of Android Support have to remove all user data, the user should be warned

Please Jolla team, address this as a bug, I lost all my android apps & user data when I deleted Yandex Store, it's really annoying !

I find this highly desirable. Leaving junk in the system is something that has plagued systems for a long time. Purging something and leaving the system just like it was never there should be always an option.

However I understand that someone would like to keep his application data so there should at least be a way to back everything up.

The option of removing everything would be highly desireable. When having trouble with the Android applications yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled Android support. Now I lost all my timewriting data since the last time I backed up data. That is not highly desireable.
