Aliendalvik doesn't work after update [answered]

Hello sailors,

I encountered a problem after updating to the latest SFOS version.

Download and update to XA2+ went smoothly, but now Aliendalvik cannot be initiated anymore. The start/stop switches are grayed out, and journalctl keeps repeating

kernel: binder: 3038:3038 - -> 0:0 transaction failed 29189/0, size 0-0 line 2149

each second.

I uninstalled Aliendalvik (and the journalctl message stopped) and reinstalled it again (which made the message reappear) - what do? ATM it is CRUCIAL to have Aliendalvik/Whatsapp up and running as we are coordinating CoVid-Fast Response via WA, and it is outrageous that a simple update disrupted everything out of the blue (I always took care to have clean installs and tidy memory allocations).

Help, pls?

(The original message was posted in a comment earlier.)

Simple answer: I had installed Aliendalvik-Control and hadn't removed that before update, resulting in faulty requests.

Uninstalled Aliendalvik-Control, Restart, and everything worked again.

And reinstalled Aliendalvik-Control afterwards, no more problems ^^

Cheers!

Add-On (thanks, @Louis): AD-Control works only a short time after reinstalling, so I'd recommend not to install it until @coderus has fixed it (and I'm sure he will - he always did ;)

I too has to uninstall Aliendalvik-control but the problem was reintroduced after reinstaaling Aliendalvik-control. A reboot was not needed after uninstallation of Aliendalvik-control.

I unistalled both Aliendalvik and Android support, but Android support string is still present in Settings.
