[Bug] Browser is playing audio high-pitched
Since the last update to 3.3.0.14, audio files are played high-pitched at a much faster speed. An example are songs on Bandcamp, like https://cyranoi.bandcamp.com/
This at least happen to all .mp3 files, independent of what site they are on. Even mp3 files directly opened in the browser instead of being embedded in a page are affected. I haven't tested any other formats though.
This might be related to the switch from libav to ffmpeg.
I am using the official Xperia X port.
Edit: I was able to narrow this further down a bit: mp3 files are affected while opus is not.
Yep, definitely not right by any stretch of the imagination. I played it on my laptop which outputs through my amp and played the same file on my Jolla1, there is a marked difference, it sounds terrible. I also played tracks from my media collection through the Jolla mediaplayer and they play as expected.
Then I played a stream from somafm.com (mp3) and compared the same stream on my PC, which largely played back as it should, albeit the stream on my Jolla1 is very bitty, almost like frames are being dropped as they would in a video soundtrack. But audio streams has never been smooth which is why i rarely use my Jolla1 to play music or videos.
What device are you using?, please update/change your tags to reflect as much.
