time zone trouble with XA2 and 3.2.0 - after factory reset

I made a factory reset with my XA2 - basically for cleaning up an otherwise almost trouble free phone just lacking memory space.

After the factory reset and updating to 3.2.0 (I stopped there because the next update would be 3.3.0 which I am using on the Xperia 10), I cannot set the time zone for the " automatic update". Though it says "Germany" the time that is set automatically is always UTC.

Even if I manually set the time, some Apps such as Depecher or Email are using the wrong time (UTC) instead of the local time that I set manually.

Rebooting doesn't help. I did not have this problem prior to factory reset nor do I have this problem with the Xperia 10. (Don't blame me for doing the factory reset - I know that I never should change a running system, but ...)

3.2.0 had a packaging glitch that broke timezone setting related symlink

Great! Thank you! Although I searched TJC for "timezone" I did not find the question and answer you showed me

@spiirion: Could it be that this is changed (improved) in 3.3.0? In the changelog I see that timed-qt5 was updated and with my Xperia 10 I can set the timezone even when automatic adjustment is enabled.

Maybe it survived the update?

I just checked on my XA2 with 3.2.1.20 and I could change timezone.
BUT then I deactivated automatic and re-enabled automatic switching. And the setting of timezone was greyed out!

Unticking automatic and executing (as nemo)
timedclient-qt5 --set-info=timeNitz
restores.
Thanks @spiiroin

This
https://together.jolla.com/question/88261/automatic-time-and-time-zone-should-be-separate-settings/
is also a nice 5y old request.

@spiiroin
Should it be like that? Or is it a just a bug/glitch/feature in the UI?
I did not get it how it should be! Separated or tied.
