Gd evening ppl!

OK, so I had activated the early access in order to receive the 3.3 update, which was received successfully. 3 days ago, I deactivated the early access option from my account, and expected the "stable" version to come as an OTA update when available.

The problem: Last night, an OTA came to my device, which was actually a previous version firmware (3.2.1.20 if I remember correctly). Initially I thought that it would be wise to avoid it, since I know that downgrading is not safe (and impossible via OTA), but then I decided to do it, since Jolla "pushed" this OTA to my device. So, flashing failed, and since then my device is unable to boot.

Is there any way to flash 3.3 again, without losing my user data? (I have a backup, but I have also performed lots of "hand-made" configs to the Android partition, and would like to avoid losing them and doing them from scratch)?!

Thank you all in advance for your time!

Konstantinos

Hi, I've a similar problem. Yesterday I've installed the update 3.3.0.14 for me and my friend. Both smartphones are xperia x.I've ubdate them with the conand line. There wasent any error. Both xperia x booting up fine.Everything seems workung smoothly. At night are coming up the uldate notifications for 3.2.1.20 I haven't never activated erly access (so I don't think there is a problem with erly acess) I dont had instal anything after this notifications but the notyfication is there. How can I solve it without a factory reset? Its possible?

If a few reboots don't help, you could try running sfos-upgrade from OpenRepos to see better what's going on, and, with fairly good odds, complete the upgrade to 3.3.0.14.

It seems that the only way would be a factory reset.

You can try this: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002996893-Xperia-X-devices-How-to-use-the-Recovery-Mode
