Fingerprint support and Sailfish X validation

Hello everyone. I wanna know;

Is the fingerprint sensor in Xperia 10 supported by Android apps? I need it to use under bank apps.
If I buy Sailfish X outside Europe (doesn't matter the way), Is need a license validation by Sailfish X to work? Or just I download the image, login into Jolla's account and then works?
