Stock browser failed opening pdf

Hello. Since the new update to 3.3.0.16 the stock browser failed to open pdfs. "BrowserContent is not responding" (Please wait or close) . The pdf is downloaded to the specified folder but the browser tab remains blank white as an "about:" tab. So I need to switch to the document app and open it there. Has anyone the same experience? Any idea how to solve this strange behaviour of the stock browser? Thanx
