Hello Jolla, i'm wondering why SailfishX have no /home encryption on the GeminiPDA. I do not think, that it is a big different between the GeminiPDA and the Sony variantes. So why is it not implemeted?

Edit 2020-06-13: I checked the kernel cryptsetup on the Gemini PDA. The required packages are installed. It is also possible to encrypt the sdcard on the PDA.

So i think it should be possible to enable /home encryption on the PDA equal to the sony devices. So Jolla please enable /home encryption on Gemini PDA.

there is a different partition layout and may be some kernel modules missing on abandoned 3.18 gemini

Yes. Kernel version is 3.18, but this is no reason to not build crypto modules. Kernel 3.18 supports partition encryption. Also the different partition layout should not be a big issue.
