Ringtone volume with headset

XA2+ SFOS3.3 Just noticed what to set ringtone volume I have to hold the ringtone volume slider and adjust volume with hardware volume buttons on a phone or a headset. Works fine w/o headset plugged in though. So... volume buttons mode app/cover?

plug in headset--incoming call--ring is barely audible--go to settings--crank ring volume to the max--another incoming call--ring is still barely audible--wtf--back to settings--hold ring volume slider and press volume up button on the side of the phone--incoming call--I can actually hear it now. PS: sorry for my bad english
