Think that you would need to use Newflasher although Xperifirm within Androxyde Flashtool still useful to download firmware: link text This resource still bit out of date as you won't find "partition.zip" in firmware, but need to extract partition-image_X-FLASH-ALL-8F02.sin to "partition" instead.Think that Emma only gives you working version of what is already installed.
Have wasted a lot of time with Xperia10 running both Android 9 & 10 which elicits "System UI isn't responding - cannot make or receive any form of call" although can SMS or use DATA connection. CPU seems to be running very hot which may account for intermittent camera issues under Android, but won't work at all under SailfishOS.
aspergerguy ( 2020-05-31 15:43:06 +0200 )editThe XPERIA 10 from Sony is originally delivered with Android 9, I read. Did you initiate the update or was it a used XPERIA 10 and the previous owner initiated the update?
I flashed my XPERIA XA 2 with Lineage 17.1. Then I started Emma and the program showed me the Android version the XA2 comes with, Android 9 to flash. I did it and the original Android 9 and all Sony apps were back on it.
Give it a try
Bellini ( 2020-05-31 17:30:07 +0200 )editHi there. I was able to revert from Android 10 to 9 with a Sony Xperia 10, using the guide on jolla.zendesk - here: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004283713-Reverting-Xperia-device-to-Android-OS-and-reinstalling-Sailfish-OS
It requires you to use Emma and I was able to do so successfully. From there, I was able to flash the Xperia 10 with Sailfish. Hopefully, it can work for you.
