Run Bolt/Uber/Free Now apps on Sailfish OS
How are you solving the problems of apps that are not available natively for Sailfish OS and no Android alternative is available due to the lack of Google Play Services alternative?
Is there any way to have ridesharing/ride service apps like Bolt(Taxify), Uber or Free Now working on Sailfish OS?
I'm so sick of constantly having to call a taxi operator and I really have no other option on Sailfish OS... I'm using Sailfish OS Rokua 3.3.0.16 on an Sony Xperia XA2. I've also tried installing MicroG, but was unsuccessful at it...I'm genuinely afraid that lack of apps will slowly kill Sailfish OS in time and it's such a pity for me because I can't get used to the Android UI/UX, it's painful...
Bolt, installed from Aptoid, has worked fine for me so far with Intex AF OS v. 3.0.0.8 and Google Play Services installed.
Nautilus ( 2020-06-12 15:08:25 +0200 )edit@Nautilus I've had them also on my Jolla 1 phone, but AFAIK the Intex phone is still using Android 4 compatibility. Sailfish OS 3 on Xperia XA2 devices use Android 8 compatibility. So there is a big difference here.

Pohli ( 2020-06-12 20:17:51 +0200 )edit@Pohli I know that Jolla lasted more than Nokia, but this attitude won't keep them alive for long for sure :) I hope they don't think the same way. P.S. I know you're sarcastic :))
