Unable to select text in [browser]

I cannot select text in htlm forms, such as this. When I press and hold the input box becomes highlighted briefly, to then just show normally again.
As info, the cursor stays at the previous place and isn't moved to where I just pressed. I don't think I've seen this behavior prior to 1.0.3.8.

@Mohjive this has been the issue at least for me all the time.
I think there is also existing question for this as well, but not yet found it
