I published the (main) part 2 where I describe which steps to take to create a Sailfish OS rootfs image which can be flashed on the Nexus 7. @Jolla095 There shouldn't be any difference for the 3g model, you just need to adjust DEVICE=tilapia in the "setup_MerSDK.sh" script. All other steps should be the same.
Now only part 3 is missing which should become a description how to flash and (in case of problems) debug the device.
jobe-m ( 2014-08-31 22:44:28 +0200 )editTried to create image for tilapia but it failed. Tilapia Kernel folder was empty. Maybe there are more files needing to be edited and I don't have the knowledge to do it. I also encountered errors with the script files (common_actions?) which make me suspect that there might be something wrong with my Ubuntu 14.04 setup. Need more practice :)

Hi, you'd probably be better off checking out somewhere like; http://forum.xda-developers.com/jolla-sailfish/general as your question isn't really related directly to Jolla&Sailfish. Regards,

I've got a Nexus7 since few days and I'm wondering about a Sailfish installation on it instead of Andro 4.4.2. So the question is a good one : where can we find a description on howto to install SailfishOS over Androisd on a Nexus7 ?
