There's a free (Creative Commons by-nc-sa licensed) ebook to get you started here: http://blog.hardcodes.de/articles/69/developing-with-sailfishos-a-short-introduction
For the specifics of Qt and QML, it refers you to another free ebook: http://qmlbook.org/
See this video, it is a good way to see how the development for Sailfish looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiWqSIyqqAc
Specifically for Sailfish, this is a beginning https://eliademy.com/3901d7e04b More generally, you have to put your interest in Qt. There is not a lot of things about it but if you are motivated and english native speaker you should progress quickly. I only have some french links so not so useful for you. The online doc of Qt is excellent but you need some prerequisites first.
One of the good starting points are the existing Sailfish apps, for example Hello World pro.
