Display battery level on lock screen [released]

The lock screen does not show battery level in percentage (or the well known battery level icon), neither does the home screen. Maybe I am missing something obvious but it seems that you need to either peek between lock and home screen or peek between an app and home screen to find out the charge level of your battery.

I'd love to see this information on the lock screen, for quickly checking whether the battery level is high enough for the rest of the day or whether I should charge my phone before going out.

Well, it is on the lock screen, but you need to swipe it up a bit to see it. One can say it is between the lock screen and the home screen. I agree this is not the most useful place and I definitely agree that it should be right there with the signal level.

Someone has suggested placing all that info in the notification screen. I quite like the idea:

Glad to see the status bar in SFOS 2.0, which also puts battery level onto the lock screen :)
