I want to organize annual Sailfish conference/summit targeted at app developers, users, TOH creators, fans and all the others individuals/groups/companies interested in Sailfish. I am sure that in couple of months there will be a lot more of topics to discuss, ideas and experiences to share than we have now and a big, Sailfish only dedicted event where community could meet up is a must.

My primary objectives:

• 2 days of conference + optional day for trainings
• affordable event for all - event not only for those living in Western Europe, but making it also accesible to those outside EU, providing active help to get a Schengen visa for conference attendees from countries that require it

Activities during event:

• Standard talks/presentations (typically 30-45 min)
• Lightning talks (short 5 min. presentations of ideas, apps)
• Hacking space (for those who want to use the event as an opportunity to hack on something together with others)
• Users and developers support desk (for those who seek small and big help - for example in putting Sailfish on their Android devices when it will be possible)
• Stands/place area for companies and sponsors
• Social event at the end of the day for better community integration
• Trainings (for those who don't have time for self-learning or are just a bit lazy for that)

My experience:

I have been organizing or taking part in organization of various technical-oriented events for almost 10 years. My biggest, own created (from scratch) event this far had more than 300 attendees.
