I like the way updates of your contacts are shown in the people app in WP. would like this functionality available in the events feed.

This is why the Events feed is there; to show SoMe service feeds like FB and Twitter timelines.. with additional time-based info like calender and alarm notifications. Messaging functionality should be in Messaging app.
