Whenever following a link in a web page and then going back, the page is re-loaded and the previous scroll position is lost.

As an example, browsing this together.jolla.com and viewing a question from the bottom of a list, then going back, re-loads the page at the very beginning.

I think we should mark this as duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/373/tab-reloading-browser-settings/, that is more generic.

I don't think this should be closed. It may be related to the tab issue, and this is mentioned in the comments, but this behaviour is incredibly annoying. To me this is more annoying than the tabs reloading as it makes reading articles on e.g. news sites, and then going back, a real nuisance, and it's even annoying on together.jolla.com.

Agree, and though this feature has been added some time ago, it still does not work. I mainly request this for my behavior of reading news site where you click an article go back scroll further down, click an article again, go back, etc.

Going back the first time usually works, but the second and third time almost never work, they go back to the first position instead.
