Notification/Progress indicator when receiving files over bluetooth [answered]

No notification/query/progress is displayed on the device when receiving files until transfer is complete. (Unless Settings app is running). I would expect some kind of progress indicator/icon when the transfer is going on.

There is still a way to track progress, and, as you guessed, it is in settings. There is a transfert category in device settings, and current transfert status are usually displayed in the settings cover. If you want to have access to transfers quickly, I recommend pinning transfert to the quick access switches in settings.

But only if I know that there is a transfer going on. There is absolutely no indication of an incoming file transfer right now. I would expect a notification.
