Small Bug: Alarm deactivates notification LED

I noticed this effect also, but it happens not only with an alarm. Everytime the phone is waked up, the notification led is switched off. This makes sense, when I look onto the phone, doing anything, I will recognize it and don't need this anymore. But if you only switch off the alarm the information gets lost.
But does this really matter? How long takes it, until you check your phone for anything else?
