My phone continues to use cellular network even though I have disabled it from settings! Seems to be bug.

What do you mean?

  1. Do you mean this: you have switched flight mode on and mobile connectivity is not switched off?
  2. Do you mean this: you have turned internet connection off, but without effect?

So in priciple, what do you mean term "mobile network" ..

I mean that phone uses mobile data connection (3G) though it is set off from settings. (Used 3Mt to transfering something. ) Flight mode is not in use. WLAN connection is on

the 3G/2G icons stay on to show what networks are available.

On WIFI there is this triangle shaped icon, to the left of the clock. When in mobile data, there is up/down arrows indicating up/down mobile data.
