If an incoming call is silenced, it stops ringing and says muted in the phone app and the caller can hear ringing continuing - behaves as expected.

After few rings, call gets transferred to voice mail correctly.

When Jolla transfers the call, it gets a network error and the network error message is flashed on top and a loud network error alert is played. The alert does not use the volume set by Ambience or the volume buttons as the alert is playing.

For me that doesn't solve the issue. Have this with all Ambiences, default and custom.

This is still happening after 1.1.9.28 update. This is a shame!!! I even reset and went through the pain of applying all updates (4) to get to 1.1.9.28.

This also happens on Nexus 5 with Sailfish OS.

Also, it happened to me when I was in India with BSNL sim card. No voice mail there, but after few rings, I get the error. So it is not SIM or Network issue. It is always happening.

Please fix it as soon as possible. It is embarrassing.

From 2.0.0.10 release notes:

"Phone:

  • USSD push messages are now shown, allowing the user of prepaid SIM's to follow the costs, for instance
  • Fixed the issue of making calls to exceptionally long phone numbers
  • Dismissing call should now work more reliably"

Did this really helped solve our issue? If you guys solved it, that is the best feature in 2.0. I love everything else, but this was the most annoying thing on my Jolla and Nexus 5.

I updated Jolla phone and tried many calls - waited until it gets transferred to VM or caller disconnects. I am happy to report this network error sound did not happen. All calls disconnected right away on the phone.

If any of you were having this issue, please update and test.

Thank you Jolla Sailors!!! You are the greatest. I am waiting for a 2.0.0.10 build for Nexus 5, since that is what I use always.

Related, if not a duplicate, of this and that.
