Add value to (volume) sliders

I severely lack this simple information when using the sliders, and particularity the volume sliders. I often want to set the volume to a specific value, and the continuous slider is not helping me in my quest. Sure they're of course discreet, but in 100 levels! Contrast this with the brightness slider for example.
One actually receives this information when selecting an ambience from the favourites screen, where a text is quickly displayed which shows the exact volume level that were set. But when creating an ambience, or adjusting the master volume, one simply has to guess. I've found myself "perfecting" the ambiences by saving them, selecting them in the quick launcher and then trying to edit and adjust it. It's very tedious work!
