Ahoy Sailors,

Some Music recognition app like soundhound / shazam would be amazing if integrated to pully menu (lockscreen pullymenu) , (in Lumia phone this is integrated in search page)...

I used this app a lot...

Best regards

Miki

I would rather see this is as a separate application instead of something Jolla should provide. But the interfaces to implement in a seamless fashion should be available.

Any easy way to add launchers/actions to pulley menu would be great... ;)

If/when a native song recognition application (Soundwave maybe?) will be released, it could use one of its cover actions as a shortcut to "listen and recognize". These kind of things are better suited to a dedicated app IMHO.

I think that Knobtviker(Soundwave dev) will make it happen if possible, but the store need a option for paid apps then.

TrackID from Sony works great also, but native Sailfish app would be amazing...

Until there is a native app, you can have Shazam from eg. Aptiode. Then just move the icon to one of the first four place of the grid (where the Phone and Browser is) and you can access it as quickly as it was in the "pulley".

On my Jolla, both Shazam and Soundhound report that they can't find or access a microphone. Did anyone get Shazam to work ?

Yes, the Shazam version I've linked above works for me like a charm. :-) My Jolla is still running on 1.0.1.12, I hope this is not something which will disappear with the update...

soundhound also works with the latest update
