as I have written here

Stefano Mosconi was interviewed by telefonino.net at MWC and he showed a Jolla with sailfish march update. When he was about to show improvements in email client (about 2:30 in the video) is clearly visible the 4G label next to the signal strength bar while the email clients opens.

Thus is very very likely that March update will enable 4G.

Video (italian audio)

And that idea is consistent with the promise to enable LTE in 1Q: unless there is another update by the end of March, this is the only opportunity to respect the announcement.

I believe this news deserves more attention (hence my decision to create a dedicated a TJC post), hopefully jollatides / jollausers will amplify that so Jolla can get more positive mood :)

Well, it has not been promised that LTE will be enabled during Q1. :)

Can't you just wait few more days until Jolla announcements and see what they have for us rather than polluting together by opening useless topics? I don't get the point of this "question".

@Sthocs - I quite agree, while it's good to know these things, JTC is not the place for it. There are an increasing number of 'useless' topics appearing on JTC.

@Sthocs@Markkyboy

this with time is less a QA site and more a community site.. this news is relevant to the community. TJC is not a QA only place IMHO (and I'm not the first one to do that).

This is also long awaited news from most of the community (I paid for a lte phone after all)
