Phone makes calls on its own

Last night I woke up at 2.32 to a faint beeping sound from my Jolla. As I reached to it, I saw that it was making a call to my friend. At this point I hung up, and after this phone looked like it was working just normally.

Phone log shows that it had made 3 calls to numbers I had called yesterday. One was my parents number, and they told that they had answered it, and when they heard nothing, they ended the call. The sound I woke up to was that beeping you hear when the other one hangs up. All the time, my phone was on a desk, connected to a charger, and untouched. This isn't so bad when these calls are made to a very close friends, but it is a little bit awkward, when your boss for example gets a silent call in the middle of the night.

Just out of curiosity, have you disabled Instant calling ("Soitto saman tien") in the Phone application settings?

Hi, let's try to first eliminate some possibilities.

Do you use the device lock? I.e. is it possible to make an accidental call by just tapping the phone?

If so, do you have pets, like a cat or a dog that might be interested in sniffing the blinking white light when the phone is connected to a charger?

Do you keep your phone on your desk with its display facing up or down?

NSA called your parents by accident could be possible too... just kidding :-D

Do you use bluetooth headsets? Mine calls last person called when double-tapping play twice

Hi, I haven't disabled instant calling, and I don't use device lock. Still, phone was on the desk so that it couldn't have been touched by anyone or anything. Display was facing down, so I couldn't have called with it like that even if I had wanted. I haven't used bluetooth headset with it, and my headset isn't even located in same address at the moment. The numbers weren't actually the latest numbers I called. There were 2-3 numbers that I had called after I had called those 3 numbers.

Try disabling it just for laughs if it's not too important to you. I used to make several accidental calls because of it.
