[suggestion] turn Connectivitys from Notifications
Had been nice and easy to turn Wifi, Mobile data, and so on with just two swipes instead to enter Settings.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

I think, a pulley menu on the bottom of the notification screen would be a better solution. Just like the one in the media player, where you can set shuffle- and repeat mode.
Ah sorry, I mixed up lock screen and notification screen. Probbably because the flash light question was about the pulley menu in lock screen.

I would vote for this idea if there wasn't the non-native (and overall badly looking, but that is just my opinion) "side-pulley-menu". It isn't pulley menu at all - pulling can't select anything. There's no such thing in SailfishOS UI guidelines.
Other than that, it's a nice idea.
nodevel ( 2014-03-05 18:45:36 +0200 )editBetter solution would be having a quick settings page right of the current events view (like in Jolla store, E-mail client, etc.). That would be the correct SailfishOS way.
nodevel ( 2014-03-05 18:48:03 +0200 )editI think Jolla have already said 'watch this space' regarding side-swiping from the notification and task-switcher screens. IIRC they're talking about having the ability to set different settings to different ambiences, eg bluetooth, airplane mode etc
Actually, here's the link: https://together.jolla.com/question/397/screenborder-swipe/?answer=9299#post-id-9299
I wonder if another way to implement what the OP is asking would be to put the 'favourite buttons' above settings in the top pulley menu, so the user drags it all the way down and can then activate whichever button they want.
rgp ( 2014-03-05 20:11:29 +0200 )editThis is almost-duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/4568/settings-quick-switches-connections-available-easier/
which is about what would be the best place for quick settings toggles (connectivity etc). It has 40 votes now, and the "settings in events screen" is the top answer with 32 votes. Your exact idea isn't there, but you can propose new variations in the comments / answers.
I think this one could be closed as duplicate.
ssahla ( 2014-03-06 09:52:58 +0200 )editside-pulley-menu well the Idea are from the Native IRC-app for sailfish.. It´s easy to access and and instead to the pulley-menu dispersers when you select an option you can. You can select more then one before you close the side-pulley-menu. In the bottom its can be harder. If you have many Notifications the you have to scroll down to bottom before you can enter the pulley-menu.
