Having the possibility with TOH to have a second sim card, active, would be so great.

This is an absolute must if you ask me. I've been carrying around two phones for a few weeks now (you know, to show off at work/friends/family with my shiny new Jolla), but it's extremely annoying.

I hope it would sit next to the other sim slot in next Jolla!

That would be very useful for me too. I have got only a very limited monthly traffic volume included in my mobile contract, but I have a second SIM card for data only with a much higher limit.

That would totally kill the market, I'm such a sucker for that feature!

There are plenty of dual-sim phones on the marked and none of them is totally kill.

and how would that be possible to implement a second sim card on the other half? Given the existing specs, could I build my own DIY simcard TOH? :-)

This would be great!

But then again, I would like to have dual-SIM and Keyboard TOH! XD …so I guess the dual-SIM should be already part of the “first half”.

Great idea, if it were possible to have a dual sim TOH and the system would support would solve my problem to carry around two phones.

Hi,

If you guys plan to go volumes to BRIC countries, Dual (or even triple) SIM became a standard option few years ago. Dual Standby is must have feature. If you afraid EU/US operator market, make a single SIM for them.

Alex.

Dual SIM: Dual Receive / Dual Standby is the min to go forward. Dual Active might be more expensive to implement.

But if they do that, they have to add a function for separating them both, naming them and disabeling one based on the ambience. I imagine my Jolla phone as a private-bussines-combo phone. If I dont want to recive bussines-calls I just change ambience or I pop my TOH off.
