With the 1.0.4.20 update we still cannot access imported google calenders in one account. in my opinion, this is a must-have for a "out of beta" release, as calendar functions are one of the most important features of a smartphone

Works for me, but there seem to be an issue with corrupted calendar databases that make entries disappear making it look like only the first calendar works:

https://together.jolla.com/question/33975/bug-google-calendar-not-showing-all-events/

Edit: https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect might be helpful? I did add all the calendars I wanted to sync over there ages ago, and those ones appear in the sailfish calendar.

Edit2: syncselect seems to be a red herring, the above bug + https://together.jolla.com/question/38887/bug-calendar-entries-synced-from-google-account-with-multiple-calendars-dont-have-a-calendar-assigned-in-the-mkal-db-and-are-not-shown-in-the-calendar/ are not necessarily the only ones. In any case, do try to reset everything calendar related (there's a gcal.ini too) from the terminal, and recreate google account. Calendars should then show up.

does it show self created calendars?

https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect shows also my wife's calendar as "synced", but none of her calendar additions appear on my Jolla. :(

@pekkap do you also see calendards listed at https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect under Shared Calendars on your device? Or is it just calendars listed under My Calendars that appear on the device?

Actually I'm seeing both types of Calendars. Just added a "Jollatest" calendar and it shows up in the calendar app even if it's unselected in the syncselect.

Might want to clear up the calendar data completely (like in the bug I submitted), it's not something you should do if you're not technically comfortable with the shell tho.

do you have imported/shared calendars? not shown, even with selection in syncselect (rebooted once)

It's not just imported calendars that are not shown - also shared calendars are not visible anywhere.

Yes. You can "manage calendars" from there. But... For example, the Google calendar still does not show my wife's calendar that she has shared to me. Is there a way to enable this "second" Google calendar? N9 was able to do this.

Manage calendars doesn't have any "add calendar" function (in 1.0.4.20). @pekkap mentions below https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect , but seems like a shared calendar doesn't come visible this way.

Should the syncselect settings be available from Jolla calendar?

for me it it needs email sync to show calendars

seems to be an old issue. Still doesnt work for me. Stumped atm. Did some sql queries like here: https://together.jolla.com/question/38887/bug-calendar-entries-synced-from-google-account-with-multiple-calendars-dont-have-a-calendar-assigned-in-the-mkal-db-and-are-not-shown-in-the-calendar/

There are only events from my own calendars there.

ONLY read/write calendars are shown, not only-read calendars, that is annoying.. Any solution?

It might be something related to google rather than Sailfish.

I had the same problem with a read-only ICS calendar (imported from URL in Google calendar account) which didn't show or sync in Sailfish. I tried the same import to an outlook.com account, then synced it with MS Exchange and the calendar is present and syncing correctly.
