Please integrate some sort of search function in the media player. Being able to Select the type of meta data to search for (title, artist, album) would be welcome!

This is a nice feature request too. Personally I like the expand by letter function in the contacts very much. However I think a mediaplayer needs a different search ui than contacts or app launcher does. So I would consider it as a seperate feature request.

@ron282 It is not identical with that request. How do you find a certain song in a list of 100s of tracks when you only know the title, but it is sorted by artist?

we have thjs problem in several threads where a feature is requested system-wide, and there are other threads requesting the same one for just one app. I don't think either should be deketed or merged in these cases, because they're not the same rdquests really. having both could allow for fins-tuning the priority lisg

...not fixing the typos here on ppurpose, bcs i'm typing on the Jolla, and it's a grand royal pita trying to do that both in browser and the tjc app
