Bug: Selecting PIN [released]

Reporting a small bug. When changing PIN code, even if you write your old number wrong, the phone let's you change the number and notifies that the number has been changed. In reality the number hasn't been changed. So please, fix this by making the phone notify if you write the old PIN code wrong.
I am not able to reproduce this so seems you have some special case there. Maybe it is some specific PIN code (or certain number combination of old and new PIN) that makes this problem happen. Could you please specify what was your correct PIN code at the time, and what you put as wrong code and what you put as a new code? And of course after declaring your PIN to the world you need to change it again =D
There was earlier problem of faulty success message when the old PIN given was wrong AND same as new one (which would obviously not be a normal use case), but that has been already fixed. Since your bug is from December, if you did not have Update 2 yet at the time then that could have been your root cause. But like said, that is not a really common use case and would seem a bit unlikely that you did exactly this strange scenario.
