When I use the pulley menu "Open new tab" from the Tab section of the Browser I'm offered the option to enter the URL of the page I want to visit in the new tab. I also see the last few URLs of pages I have visited I think.

What appears to be missing is any way to see my Favourites.

Please can this be added as when opening a new tab I often want to go to a Favourite page.

Thanks

[Updated] I sit corrected :). The favourites are there but you need to hide the keyboard to see them. While they are not missing, this still needs a fix so that the focus isn't on the search at the outset and the keyboard therefore isn't shown unless you choose to search or enter a URL in the input line.

Actually, the favorites are there and can be selected to open in a new tab. You just have to swipe away the virtual keboard and the favorites are shown in that space. You can scroll the whole list, select a favorite and it will open in a new tab. Swipe-down gesture in the middle of kbd does the trick. If you instead tap to the search field the keyboard appears and recent sites are shown below text, and above kbd. The swipe-down to hide kbd was hinted by @veskuh in another question, but in this case hiding it works too and exposes new content i.e. the favorites.

Yes it seems the favourites are there but hidden by the keyboard which is far from ideal. Please would Jolla change the behaviour here so that the keyboard is not shown and only appears if you choose to put the focus on the search line?

Thanks for the workaround @jjanoe but this still needs a fix.

@ninepine I agree with you on that it would be better if user could disable the automatic focus on the text-field and the appearance of kbd in this case.

This needs to be fixed, there is no way how regular user should know the exact spot where to pull the keyboard away to reveal favorites again. Maybe an old fashioned button or just pulley menu to change between history / favorites?
