edit message text colour

It would be good if in "messaging/settings" an option to edit the appearance; eg. change incoming/outgoing text colour. For example, it can be difficult, especially outdoors, to read blue text against against a dark background. Perhaps someone could add a "bubble text" option, like in Mitakuuluu.
