What to do with "show presence details", "clear notifications" and "updates" [not relevant]

As for clear notifications and update, what do you think it means?, for example, update current chats with a pal on facebook maybe, or when that screen is full, you might want to 'clear notifications' (I'm guessing here as I don't use facebook/twitter/etc), but I assume that window where you found these three menus is where facebook/twitter/xmpp notifications/messages appear.

Not sure about what "update" really does, haven't used it. But "clear notifications" does what it says, it clears the list of notifications – not only facebook, twitter etcetera but also downloads, new emails, new sms, missed calls, whatever you may see in the events view. (It seems "app update available" notifications from the store can't be cleared though.)
