I´d like to have an integrated countdown to stop the music player. This would be very helpful to fall asleep with music.

okay. media player needs many things to be added. like auto generated playlists (last played, last added so, on) eq, and at least, but not last - repeat a single track

Very funny I went through this post, because I'm currently developing a Sailfish application that will do exactly that :) It's still under development but a first version should be released soon. The first version would feature a sleep timer editor, where you can attach a sleep timer to any .pls file present in the playlist/ folder of Music directory. You will also be able to configure the complete playout time, the fading time of music (from [currentVolume]to 0), if the playlist should be shuffled,... And there will also be an option to shut down the device/exit the application on playout end. So stay tuned, it will come! :)

I hope the sleep timer will work with any multimedia source, including internet radio (like QuickRadio from Openrepos). And it would be great if you could switch off the bluetooth speaker connection when the sleep time is over.

The sleep timer could be grouped with the equalizer that is mentioned in other threads here at TJC.
