Sometimes, when I want to minimize an Android app, it's closed instead (no cover on the home screen). The issue can appear with one or more Android apps opened.

Once this issue happens, it stays and I have to reboot to fix it.

Update (more explanations) :

My issue is that, sometimes, when I minimize an Android app, the "Android apps" cover disappears. The exact same behaviour as if I wanted to close the app (with the closing gesture).

In a normal behaviour, if I minimize an Android app, there is a "Android apps" cover for it on the homescreen.

If this issue occurs, I still can open Android apps. I have to reboot in order to fix it (fix = get a cover for Android apps).

Update (with fix) :

Closing a few apps solves the issue. It looks like a problem with the available memory.

Can you explain better? What do you mean by "home screen"? If it is Sailfish's home screen, then what you describe is expected. Android doesn't distinguish between minimising and closing (well, almost). Technically, you can have only one Android application "open" at any time, as that's how Android works on any device anyway.

Homescreen is the screen with all the covers. I know there is only one android app visible at a time (one cover for Alien Dalvik).

In a normal behaviour, if I minimize an Android app, there is a "Android apps" cover for it on the homescreen.

My issue is that, sometimes, when I minimize an Android app, the "Android apps" cover disappears, the exact same behaviour as if I wanted to close the app.

I hope it is more clear now.

Tibo: thanks, that makes a bit more sense. You probably want to add the full explanation to your question. My understanding is that you are minimising _everything_, in which case I'd expect Alien Dalvik to go away from the home screen, but I can't confirm it (the service runs behind the scenes anyway).

@Sthocs I'm in portrait mode, so I do the basic gesture gesture to minimize the app. I have to reboot in order to have a normal behaviour, that is to say : have a cover for Android apps. With this issue I still can open Android apps.

@gabriel I want to have a cover for Android apps. Normally, if I minimize an Android app, a cover is displayed for Android apps. I will add more explanations in my question.

Does this happen to you if you have no other apps running?

If it only happens when you already have a bunch of SailfishOS apps "covered", then it's an already known memory thing:
