You might want to give a better description of how you have been doing this?, USB?, Bluetooth?, to external sdcard?, to phone memory?, MP3's?, wav's?, etc....
I used your example to see if I could create the same problem, but I couldn't.
Using a Windows 7 64bit PC, I was able to send a track by Mörcheeba to my Jolla via Bluetooth and entire Mörcheeba albums in folders via USB - without any problems.

Spam Hunter ( 2014-04-02 17:48:24 +0200 )editI copied mp3-files by connecting the phone via USB. There is no difference between copying to phone memory or to an SD card - the problem is actual in both cases. Files was copied using a Windows 8.1 64-bit PC, and I tried to copy files many times - copying always halted.
